Nosey Bob

About
Robert Howard, aka 'Nosey Bob,' was a Bondi resident with a remarkable and tragic life. A former cabman, his disfigured nose led him to an unexpected career as a hangman. Known as the "Gentleman Hangman," he faced public scorn and controversy. Despite professional success, his personal life was marred by tragedy. He retired in 1904 and passed away in 1906.
